About me:

I’m a landscape & nature photographer based in Oregon. My passion is for the outdoors first and foremost, and photography is the vehicle to share the love I have for our wildlands. I picked up a camera on a whim in the middle of a difficult time in my life, and quickly realized I had found a form of release and expression that I hadn’t experienced previously. At the same time I was venturing further into remote areas of the Pacific Northwest and finding healing, peace and rejuvenation in the solitude and splendor of Mother Nature. My aim in photography is to share the sacredness and aliveness of the world around us, and to draw attention to our intrinsic connection as a part of this grand collage of nature and existence. I hope that at least in some small way this work can serve to pay back the solace and love I’ve found in the natural world, and that it can help in raising awareness of the need to protect it.
